About FARSOC
FARSOC has progressively grown in its membership throughout Southern California. FARSOC was founded on January 22, 2000. It is a registered non-profit organization in California. Its members are retirees from all sectors. A retiree is a person receiving permanent financial benefits as a result of his/her service with local, state, or federal government or privately owned companies.
The goals of our Association are:
- To focus attention and concern, to promote visibility, participation and representation of the Filipino American Retirees of Southern California through the political process.
- To support and protect retiree benefits.
- To foster unity among the Filipino American Community
- To award educational scholarships to deserving students interested I pursuing careers.
- To further the highest standard of Ethics, Culture and Civic Welfare of the community.
- To provide assistance to the FARSOC members and the community in time of need.
